Held in Scottsdale, Arizona the 3rd Sunday morning every month.
We're at the Scottsdale Pavilions
Shopping Center, at 9062 East Indian Bend Road in Scottsdale (that's
between the 101 Fwy and Pima Road).
When people ask our Boy Scouts
"hey what do
you recycle?" We say "anything with a plug!!!"
We'll take just about anything
electronic, working or not. If it's a computer CPU we recommend that you
erase the hard drive, remove it, or destroy it before donating it.
Besides that we'll take appliances, televisions (right now the
non-digitals are a big donation item), printers, scanners, you name it,
we'll have a home for it.
The
proceeds from your donation go to help
Boy Scouts, and a lot of other
charities in the community. When you stop by you'll usually see our
scouts and leaders schlepping donations from vehicles into the Westech
Recyclers truck. We'll gladly give you a donation receipt for your tax
records.
In regards to pick-up's of
donations, we can't do that
unless is it for a larger quantity donation (in which case Westech
Recyclers will visit you, for us). If you have a larger pick-up. Please
call one of our scouting volunteers at 602-475-8179.

COMPUTER HARD DRIVE INFORMATION
Even though we make every attempt to erase donated computer hard
drives, it is the responsibility of the owner to erase their
computer's hard drive before donating it to Troop 446.
Our recycler
recommends Killdisk hard drive erasing software. Killdisk is a
